"'If you want to become my followers, you must deny yourselves and take up your cross daily and follow me. For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will save it. What does it profit you if you gain the whole world, but lose or forfeit your very self?'" (Luke 9:23-25)

Course: Writing Your Life II - A Freeing Journey

Catherine Hammond Bs in Ed, MA, MPh
JCatherine Hammond

Starts Wednesday 6 September
Two things will happen with this course. First, through stimulating and fun techniques, you'll find memories coming alive, incidents you've almost forgotten -- funny, moving, significant -- and writing them down will give you a record of your life and times for your children and grandchildren. Second, looking at where you've been, what you've done, what you've felt over the years will bring deep insights, new freedom and growth.

Catherine Hammond has degrees in education, creative writing and philosophy, has authored several books and has been an editorial manager and free-lance editor. Over the years she has worked very closely with many life-story writers and has watched amazing things happen.

In various ways, you'll be helped to recall and describe your meaningful moments, and the whole experience will lead you to a greater awareness of yourself and all that fills your life.
